Your space should reflect your personality and lifestyle.  It should make you feel good when you are there.  Let go of the notion that everything has to be matchy-matchy.  When you mix and match and use pieces that complement each other your rooms will feel more layered, collected and eclectic.  Maybe you have an upholstered headboard with different nightstands and a painted dresser.   And never forget to replace the industrial looking white vent cover with a Fancy Vent.  In this bedroom we used the Cynthia design to complement the geometric design on the bed linens.
